Privacy Policy

Earnboard ("we", "our", or "us") operates earnboard.xyz. Earnboard is currently preserved in lightweight static mode, so account creation, X login, campaign submissions, payments, withdrawals, and dashboard features are paused. This Privacy Policy also describes the data practices that applied, and may apply again, when the full Earnboard app is active.

1. Information We Collect

From users (earners):

X (Twitter) username, display name, and profile picture, when the full app uses X OAuth signup
Email address, when provided for verification or support
Wallet address, when the full app is active and you request a withdrawal
Submission data, such as links to posts and content submitted for campaign tasks when campaigns are active
Activity data, such as tasks completed, points earned, campaigns joined, and withdrawal history when the full app is active

From projects:

Project name, X handle, website, and category
Contact email address and Telegram handle (optional)
Campaign details and prize pool amounts
Payment transaction information, when campaign payments or upgrade payments are active

Automatically collected:

IP address and browser type for security and fraud prevention
Session data for authentication when login features are active
Usage logs for website or platform operations

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account when the full app is active
To process campaign participation, task submissions, and reward distribution when campaigns are active
To process withdrawal requests and send on-chain payments when withdrawals are active
To verify email addresses and authenticate users via X OAuth when login features are active
To communicate important account updates, campaign results, withdrawal confirmations, or support replies
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
To display leaderboards and user rankings on the platform
To improve platform features and user experience

3. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

With projects: Your X username and submitted content links are visible to project teams for submission review purposes
Public leaderboards: Your X username, rank, points, and campaign scores may be displayed publicly on leaderboards
On-chain transactions: Withdrawal transactions are published on public blockchains (BSC, Base, or Solana). Wallet addresses and amounts are visible on-chain
Service providers: We use Resend for email delivery and random.org for provably fair raffle draws. These services receive only the data necessary for their function
Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
Submission and campaign history is retained indefinitely as part of the platform record
Rejection counters reset on the 1st of each month, but the underlying records are retained for fraud prevention
You may request account deletion by contacting us at hello@earnboard.xyz. Note that on-chain transaction records cannot be deleted as they are part of a public blockchain

5. Security

We take security seriously. Measures include:

All passwords are hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plain text
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
Login attempts are rate-limited when login features are active
User accounts can be frozen by our admin team if suspicious activity is detected

No system is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at hello@earnboard.xyz.

6. X (Twitter) OAuth

X OAuth login is currently paused while Earnboard runs in lightweight mode. When the full app is active, signing up or logging in with X may give Earnboard access to your public profile information (username, display name, profile picture) and email address as permitted by X's API. We do not store your X password and we do not post on your behalf.

7. Cookies

When login features are active, we use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality if the full app returns.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Object to certain uses of your data

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the full app returns, we may notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
